Do love these old Foundry minis - true 25mm before things got big - wonder if 28mm will also be enlarged at some point? Lets hope not. Is that a sleeping Mexican in the background?

Serpently is, he came out of a cornflakes packet same as this little cove, 'Snake Eyed Pete'...

"Wot did you do in the war Grandad?"

"I was with Harry... At The Bridge!"

It was said that old snake eyes had the devil in him, others say it was because he lived on rattle snakes and beans, whatever the case he had a nasty disposition...

That's mighty fine corn surprise partner.  lol Look forward to seeing the Mexican. Do you have these in sufficient numbers to have a game?

We some times sneak one or two into a game of FofL. In the set there are three 'Snake Eyed Pete's', the piccy is of middle (about 40mm) sized Pete the other one is nearly 54mm, minime is 25mm... all exactly the same pose and will be painted identically. There's two Indians, Mr and Mrs Lame Beaver, a Chinaman to run about shouting 'Swargen' and a pompous bald headed little chap... who'll wind up as the lawyer J. Noble Daggett.
Meanwhile back at the Battle of Hastings, are these Perry figures one piece castings?

I don't think they are as they are probably from the old Citadel range which was not.

Rider comes separated from the horse.

Think I might plump for the newer castings, if you lads think they're better, althogh I do like the moulded on shields of the older Perry's, less to damage if they get dropped... must confess, I'm very much in the dark ages concerning these fellows with their big choppers and wotnot.

Harry, not better, different but still of a decent quality. I did get some lumpy flash on some of the models but this was easily removed as the metal was quite soft.

The main difference being in the poses, the newer models are more animated than that of yesteryear :)
