« on: December 09, 2015, 06:36:34 PM »
Since being part of the playtesters for Mark Latham's upcoming Broken Legions,to be published by Osprey, I have been working on terrain pieces and warbands. I will use this thread to show what I have done  :)

Please feel free to comment  :)

Any advice on what miniatures to buy for Broken Legions or what factions there are? :p

I really dislike it when I can't buy miniatures in advance and (never) paint them.

Really cant tell you much as that would be breaching the confidence that Mark Latham placed with us.

If you look at my blog under the tag Broken Legion and you'll get an idea of what to get for some of the warbands that are available.

No worries. Your Romans are great, by the way.

I can't wait.

Had a great game against my friend Frank yesterday. The Roman Soldiers of the Eagle took on the Germanic Barbarians on the site of an ancient temple.

Great looking table.
I have some Romans and enemies I was thinking of using for a game like yours.
Broken Legions look like it might be what I am looking for.
Enjoyed your blog.
Like your Retreat from Moscow game.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks - the game is an excellent way to play ancients without having get an entire army.

My Retreat from Moscow game is not something I play anymore - no one to play with. Might be selling all my minis.

Indeed, it's funny that the was more uniformity and less skirmishing in the ancient days then the relatively more recent middle ages for example.

Finally finished the Dacian warband that I started collecting minis for back in October. Looking forward to trying them out, especially the Falxmen and the Strigoi.
