Painted some new Thrilling Tales miniatures
« on: January 14, 2007, 10:11:31 PM »
Today I finished the first Thrilling Tales minis from my last order. I started with Sgt. Kelly and Big joe to complete Kellys Heroes. I also repainted some part of Oddbod and finished Mad Jack the Lighthouse Keeper.
I really love those minis! Always a pleasure to paint.

By the way; I think I found the perfect setting for my camera. Now there is almost no more editing in Photoshop necessary:

Nice job !

Thats the first time I've seen a painted Jack too.

IF anything you could do with turning up the exposure on the camera to get the figures a bit brighter.  If you have a camera with good manual settings you should be able to manually turn the exposure settings up a few notches. If you cant do this then use more lights (which helps eliminate the shadows too)

Not normally my area of interest, but the new minis by Artizan have caught my attention.
Excellent paint jobs, you may have tipped me towards buying a set!

I am quickly becoming a fan of Artizan...a company I hadn't paid much attention to before (shame on me).

Good stuff, top notch paint!
