Where To Play Frostgrave: Your Local Community Guide
« on: December 24, 2015, 08:55:33 AM »
Hi All

After spending a heap of time on this Frostgrave forum and two of the bigger Facebook Groups, one of the things that stands out for me is that there are a lot of gamers and a heap of them are looking for games.

I thought this thread could serve as a one-stop shop to promoting the local communities that play Frostgrave.

I'll kick it off the club I'm involved on;
Location: Sydney, Australia
Club: Company Of Dice.
Next Event: 6th February 2016, The Hunt For The Golem Facebook event

Where are you playing at?

I live in Appomattox Va and the nearest game store is Dragon Fire Games in Lynchburg Va. I plan to introduce Frostgrave as soon as I have the figures to provide a few warbands. I may even start by using my Mordheim figs. If anyone lives in the area, I'd love to hear from you. I may even run Frostgrave at Historicon in Fredericksburg Va this July.

Hello all,

I'm hoping to introduce, and play myself, Frostgrave in 2016 to my local clubs and groups.

Location: Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire (UK)
Club: I'm non-affiliated, at present. But do know members of several local clubs and gaming groups.
Event: None planned at present. Just looking to get gaming, either regularly or with one-off games.

Anyone in the Dudley/Stourbridge/Black Country area?
I have warbands, scenery, monsters based around the Lich Lord campaign etc but currently having to get over to Birmingham for an occasional game
Drop me a line if you have somewhere to play and fancy a regular partner/opponent

Peterborough Wargames Club, Peterborough, UK.

We have about a dozen players, we've just finished running through the Hunt for the Golem as an intro campaign and there's talk of a full campaign starting in the new year. More players always welcome.

I'll definitely be visiting Felstad in 2016, and will be looking for games in Central or South London (UK)

Alternatively could set a small campaign up, maybe Dark Sphere as a location, a pub or combine the two and one of the clubs in the city, Cross Gaming or the one that used to be in Clapham and is now in Balham (sorry any members forgot the name!)

Feel free to message me if your interested, maybe set a start date of early March?

I'm south London. No idea what the club is called but I think  dark sphere have some tables.
never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

ARBBL club, Andover, Hampshire, UK
Facebook contact

Most club nights (Tuesdays) someone will be up for a game.  At the moment we're just playing pick-up games (though we are advancing the warbands) but we do intend to run a campaign at some point in the new year.

Nic-e having checked out your awesome art - cracking use of mixed media incl. 28mm miniatures! Powerful stuff, but if we set something up I'm going to have to paint my Arabic band of brothers up only seems right with your fantastic skills.

Don't know where you based (I'm in Elephant) but I remembered the club in Balham - its South London Wargamers, took part in a Warmachine slow grow league a few years back. They were a nice bunch, and looks like they've been eyeing up Frostgrave:

Will reintegrate with their forums to drum up some more support if you fancy that March campaign!
