Im starting a bigger Frostgrave Campaign this sunday, and we will be starting be playing the mini-campaign The Hunt for The Golem together. For that I needed a golem, and I have finally painted one up. It will count as a large elemental if needed otherwise. The miniature is from the boeardgame Descent, and is kindly donated to me from a friend.

It's a very nice model. Simple and effective paint job. Good work.

I have painted up an old Games Workshop Blood Dragon to be the tough random encounter of a vampire. I love the model, but i have lost its hands and sword through time. It got some empire steel gloves and the greatsword from the first frostgrave plastics!

3 skeletons from HeroQuest, 2 have had their scythe heads replaced, since they have broken off. Very simple and quick paint job, but i think it works. They are obvioulsy formerly used as farmhands in the fields surrownding Feldstadt, but the magic that keeps them in line are long gone, and now they only seek to destrot that which lives!

I finally finished some animals to hunt in the frozen city. The white gorilla is a very large and cool model, from the Descent boardgame, repurposed for Frostgrave. The snow leopard is a reaper bone model, actually its a female lion, who got another paint job. i wuite liek the result, especially the unclosed spots look cool. The model kindda looks happy, instead of menacing, but it works. Both are nice bendable plastic models.

Next on my schedule was a skeleton drummer, to be used as a normal og armoured skeleton. Even though he have a chest plate, he could work fine as a normal skeleton. The model is an old GW skeleton command musician I have had lying around. I painted him back when I was twelve, bun now he have been stripped of the horrible paint job and given new life. I really like the model, even though the sculpt is bas in a lot of places - especially on the cape.

Cool drummerboy 8). I also have a drummer ready as a Bard to be finished someday.

Thank you! I was considering using him as a bard in a tight spot, but i dont think im ever really gonna use a bard in the game, so he probably only gets monster duty - at least until i have made enough skeletons for a necromancer warband entirely filled with them :-)

Finally done with this great and nasty Giant Worm, which is a miniature from the board game Descent. I really like that its style stands out amongst other giant worms I have seen, and the human face makes i really creepy. Im finallt getting the hang on using GW's snow effect i think. smaller patches, that are flatter seems to be the key to making the melting effect look realistic!

Long time since my last update.

I have been playing some games, and its been great fun. I just started a Thaw campaign, with the new mission cards. And its just great fun. The cards are a perfect expansion! makes every game different!

My opponent have a bad habbit of casting control animal on my poor dogs, so now i have to add some new fighters, and retire them.

I have painted up a captain, that I want to use in the future, a cool evil looking guy from Reaper Bones. I also needed another man-at-arms to fill up the ranks. He is a mean looking knight in yellow, also from Reaper Bones.

Captain:

Man-at-arms:
