Inquisitor 28mm/ Kill Team
« on: December 29, 2015, 02:36:10 PM »
So after seeing some Kill Team: Heralds of Ruin over on Guerrilla Miniature Games https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbO4Vs1vlAA9hz7Ad7IMgug and picking up a copy of the Inquisitor rules at my local used book store I went a little crazy with some mini building. I'll show the pictures here (that's all you want to see anyway), If you want to read my rambling on the subject you can check out my blog link at the end of the post.

Inquisitor 1 ( Ordo Xenos)

 Inquisitor 2 (Ordo Malleus)

Inquisitor 3 (Ordo Hereticus)

Guard Veterans

Rogue Trader

Rogue Trader Chief of security

Bounty Hunter

A quick shot of my Guardsmen for Kill Team

Hopefully I will get these guys primed today and start in on them. I'm working on a few more builds at the moment. Any criticism and/or suggestions are very much welcome. Also, I f you have any questions about the builds themselves I would be happy to answer them.

You can read more of my adventure into the Grim Darkness of the future on my blog http://danceswithhipposterrain.blogspot.com/2015/12/w40k-kill-team-inq28.html (If you're into that sort of thing).

My first test mini is complete. What do you think of the colors?

Looks great.  I love these conversions.  I can't wait to see more of these painted.

Wonderful stuff and I really dig the paint scheme.  I'd love to see these all painted up!

Agree, great conversions. GW does produce a lot to do this sort of stuff so there's plenty opportunity to create something unique.

Very cool conversions. You've captured the neo-goth menace vibe perfectly. Always thought Inquisitor made great gaming fluff. And I was especially fond of Abnett's novels.

I'm not sure how I feel about his paint job. If anyone has any thoughts on it, feel free to let me know.

I think maybe the source of your angst is that the red and yellow really jump out at you, but the rest of him is sorta muddled together.  Maybe make the dark tabard and metal arms a bit brighter? Could just be the photo though.

Lovely stuff here, those conversions and mash-ups are great!

Chap above - hair, face and clothes are great, you've done especially well on the red highlighting.  The yellow... break it up with hazard warning stripes on the chainsword or pistol?

I think I'll try the hazard stripes on the chainsword, that might tone down the yellow while breaking it up at the same time. Excellent suggestions guys, thanks.
