Well I ordered instantly i saw available IHMN is perhaps my top game i play and so many games and hours Iam looking forward to using the rest of my collection  in this set , Charles and Craig always deliver a good solid rule set. (Just need to find 3  cheap Viking 28mm long ships i always wanted . MDF people wake up for Odins sake on this you can do one i know it!!!!)

Just curious for those who have, or have written, the rules - what are the campaign rules like when it comes to models improving? Is there exp etc, or is it a static points cost game? Cheers.

The campaign rules are aimed at providing an episodic 'saga' for your Warbands to play through with a defined overall objective and opportunities for heroic tales and glorious victories. In them, you can replace your losses and add new figures to warbands between games using reputation points you earn in the game. This includes allowing figures to buy options from their Warband's force list.

However, we felt that actually 'character improvement', in which you increase a figure's base stats, was more a roleplaying game attribute than that for a narrative skirmish game.

But we have always encouraged player creativity so, if your wargaming comrades agree, we see no problem in you choosing to spend your hard-earned reputation points to do just that.
