The Rikkit Fleet
« on: January 06, 2016, 01:52:23 PM »

The Rikket are a race of five-limbed spacefaring antlike creatures. Their consciousness is a gestalt, with decision-making centered in their field commanders and ship captains.

Where is their queen? Wouldn't you like to know.

Ships made from the "Scorpedo" Hot Wheels cars.
You, sir, are not allowed to attempt a takeover of the solar system until your octopus sobers up.

Totally blown away. I'd NEVER have recognized those cars.

I had the question of from where did the parts come.

Okay, still wondering about the smaller parts. Beads on the sides and as 'fighters'?

Oh, and two cars into one ship? HOW many did you use?  Sever we can see. ;->=

The guns and the fighters are beads.  Most ships are one car with the top taken off, so the insert forming the windows etc constitutes the upper hull.  The various half-circle parts are wheels  sawn in half.

All of a sudden I'm getting a hankering for a king prawn makhani.

Really neat conversions! Impressive fleet.

I had no idea what "Scorpedo" Hot Wheels were; but now that I've educated myself a little more, I am even more impressed with you creative conversions! Not only do they look like imaginative space ships, they also look nothing like the (rather distinctive) original models. Very well done sir!  :D

This is awesome! Couldn't believe that they should be made from car models (didn't know these models either).

Wonderful creative conversions! And the best is IMHO that the result looks more unique than a lot of space fleet designs I have seen so far. :-* :-* :-*

I'm saving the more scorpionlike top bits for the Cephalid fleet.
