Guns and weapons in 28mm
« on: January 16, 2007, 11:42:07 AM »
hello all,
i'm looking for spare weapons for LOTOW games but i have only found at Redoubt some Henry martini rifles (10 for £1.00). Does any one knows where to find peacemakers, Winchesters, muskets or things like that...
my goal is to convert Westwind london police inspector from Horror range into Pinkerton agency men...they have long coat, round hat but no rifles...

thank you for your help

The only separate weapons sets I know of are Bolt Action Miniatures´ weapons packs, but those are WW2.

Me too. I want to make a Pulp version of "Skinforce" for Great War in Africa (basically Masai with rifles).

I have two Lee-Enfields that came with a Copplestone Vickers MG, but could do with a few more bits and bobs. Martinis, Remingtons or whatever.

I'll have to check out BAM, if they have Lee-Enfields.

Iron winds metals sells a sprue of western weapons. I've got these and they all work well with 28mm miniatures. The shotgun is a bit on the heroic side as far as proportions go.

Conquest has two weapon pack offerings as well. I haven't gotten these yet but from the looks of the weapons being held by some of the greens on the site these look good too.

Hope that helps,

Also have a look at the Paroom Station VSF range sold by London War Room in the US:

http://www.thelondonwarroom.com/Parroom%20Station%20Miniat%20Special%20Items%20Page%2016.htm#PARROOM%20STATION%20MINIATURES

(weapons are at the bottom of the page)

The range contains rifles from several late-19th century powers. Designed for 'slim 28mm figures' these would work well with Foundry natives or similar.

At $3 for 6 weapons you can easily arm new units. Mail order from London War Room to Europe is very good too.

thank you guys ! :)
I know that The Assault Group have plenty of weapons/equipment but these are for WWII...sniff ....it's the same for Ebob Miniatures,
It's quite unbelievable to see that there is no much products about weapons/equipment for 18th-19th era :o

more research in the way !
