Very very impressive work on those movement trays  :o. The bases really looks like something from Grece og Turkey.

All the best with beating up Paris. From our game record it should'nt be very hard. As long as its not Hector!

Great job at keeping the project going.

cheers
Erik

I have painted up one more chariot.

And this marks a temporary end for this project. As I have now painted all the Mycheneans I have.

But I’ll probably get some more when/if Blacktree has another one of their 50% blowout sales.

Actually I had a bit left. To make a movement tray and some casualty markers. But now I actually am out of Mycheneans.

I am going to resurrect this old thread as this project is slowly waking up again. Warlord is releasing a bronze age supplement for Hail Ceasar and it has created the spark that was needed to bring this back to life.
I have painted these 12 warriors and have 12 more and a chariot to do.

And then I have a small horde of Hittites arriving in the post. As has Erik, my Bronze age partner in crime. So hopefully at some point we will have two great armies.

A most fine example to put pressure on my detailed painting plan  >:D.  I might do the seapeople to get on board from the beginning.

Great miniatures.

Cheers

Some great progress over the last few pages. I like Minos - you gave him a great "Time Bandits" look.

Oddly enough, I was just thinking about selling off my Cutting Edge Sea Peoples army, all unloved and unpainted after several years. I've got plenty of Achaeans and Trojans, but I can't seem to get started on that 3rd army...

Is Hail Caesar any fun? I've been looking to do a big army with those Cutting Edge figures, and maybe this could be the right game?
I hear Dux Bellorum w the right tweaks gives a good game too.

I really like Hail Ceasar for big games. It is fast and easy. It works very intuitive. We have often had non wargamers play with us and they "got it" within 15 minutes.

It is my go to mass battle game.
