Thats good to know. I´m looking forward to trying then out.
I like what you´ve done with the red shields to break up all the cowskin. I might very well copy that on some of mine.

Well i still need to finish my last guys.

@Erik I thought red shields appropriate for the hero guys. You don't get to be a hero by carrying around the same shield as the common footpad. They have ended up looking a bit samey though.

After a long break from posting I am ready with the last reinforcements for my Trojan force. There are some spearmen to bring the original units upto12 man strong and the same goes for the skirmishers which are now 6 man strong. I bought some javelins and split it with Dr. Z so they have to content with no more archers. Two more chariots give me a lot of new options in building up my force and finally some heavily armoured men at arms. They are from Front Rank. I bought some slingers as well but I dont know if I am going to paint them up right now. At the moment its a pretty sizeable force which I am pretty pleased with.

Over to you Dr. Z when you finish stuffing your self with pork og german beer.

Here are the last models on my part of this Mycenean quest. I ended up painting the slingers to go with the rest of the skirmishers. I now have three units, so I can really annoy my opponent if I want to.

I paintes up som extras as well for a bit of fun while we game.
First up is a Little taunt model for when the opponents general goes down. Just look at the Little pancy lying there surrounded by his weeping mates.

Second is the main prize. The beautiful Helena of Troy showing of here assets  :o

My Trojans are now ready for some serious wargaming time.

Thank you all fore the nice comments

You better do!!
This is only thread I am checking for new posts on purpose in Age of Myths board :)

I want to see those beautiful shields with unpainted hide pierced by bronze spears and those tusk helmets shattered by bronze swords!

You made me want to paint some, and I hate chariots and generally dislike the period until this!

And it is done...ish

Here is the rest of my army. Well the original buy at least.

And everything together.

So now we are ready for a game. At Tactica our forces got reinforced by additional spearmen and skirmishers. Those I have not painted up yet. As I am missing some wire spears and javelins.

We had initially said April first as a deadline so I almost made it. But I cannot compete with Eriks speed.
