The hounds and those porters with extra wide and heavy loads are smashing!  :-*

Cheers, mate.
I hope to get some more done this week, it is on to the Outlander Warriors now....

I have plans for the first of those, I just need to paint some more of the figures first but they will be gotten to shortly.

Haven't been paying attention, and funny thing, as amazing as it's all coming out to be, wasn't shocked. Problem with being a legend in MY mind, Mason ol' bean.  :D

'Sherdaws', IS catchy! Of course, in their language, just means 'impoverished younger relatives...'  lol

Speaking of which, I finished off the 'loads' for the first two of the Porters...

Another angle...

The next couple will have smaller loads, but I need to finish off some of the Outlander figures first.

Clearly those guys are a lot stronger than the look  :D

Nice job

They are supposed to be exceptially strong and steady (they are all solid legs under that robe) but I DID intrntionally make these loads on the extreme side for fun.
I shall make the rest a little smaller, more like this example.....

Really great work all round; your minis look just awesome together! 8)

But those hunting dogs are just excellent. I will really be wanting me some of those! ;)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Female Nomads (The Outlanders-An Inq-Munda setting) 11/03
« Reply #69 on: March 11, 2016, 11:29:55 AM »
I have started to paint some of the Outland Warriors, beginning with a couple of the female members of the band.

As someone else will be painting a group up in the 'official' buckskin colours I have opted to paint some differently in more garish gear to represent a different type of band.
These will represent a nomad band in the Outlanders setting, which will double up as a Scavenger gang in our Necromunda games...

Outfitted in much brighter clothing than some of the other groups on Outland, the Nomad culture favours brighter clothing which has often seen better days once exposed to the elements for a while.

With all that fur trim I'm guessing they're from a 'fringe world'. Baddum tish! I'm here all week, try the veal!

They could be good for Dredd too, though to be honest I'm pretty interested in the Outlanders game setting from what I've heard so far.

Hmmmm.....
You been sampling Kev's 'sweeties' again?
 ;D

I can see the Dredd thing: Cursed Earth outcasts, maybe.
It was suggested earlier that they could be female Valhallans as well, which is something that had not occurred to me.

As for the Outlanders setting: I hope to do a bit more on the scenery side of things soon too, just for my own games and scene setting at the moment.

Cursed Earthers was what I had in mind too. I wonder what creature their furs come from?

I have an idea for some creatures, but the first ones will not be furry.
 ;)

On another note: The KS for these will be going live this week.
I am just awaiting the review stage to clear and then I will press 'GO!'.
