I don't think the porters look local. Trust me, schlepping this stuff around strange forbidding worlds is still better than staying back in the office, where the REAL slave driver holds sway.   ;)

 lol lol
So true.
Fortunately my new boss is a lovely bloke and does not slave drive at all.
 :D

I got the castings of these back yesterday and managed to start painting a set earlier.
I shall pop a (very) WIP piccie up later.

I have finally gotten around to (rather sloppily) slapping some paint on some of the figures, beginning with the Merchant and his Porters...

Now I just need to make some 'loads' for them to carry.

Hopefully the next lot, as I want quite a few of them for my games, will look better....

Well, I took a delve into my 'clutter bits box' and put some together.

Firstly, a 'sensible' load.....

...which I will use on one of the later figures, but it does not seem right for sci-fi to me so I made a few 'not so sensible' versions.....which seem more appropriate to me.
 :D

Now I just need to slap some paint on them.

Hi-Ho!

Maybe he has an anti grav harness? It really finishes those sherdaws off nicely (part sherpa,  part dawg!).

Haha haha lol

They may need a 'wide load' or 'we break for no one' sticker on the back ;)

Cheers

No, they just have immense strength and balance.
And I like that name.
I may just nick it, or use something of a similar vein.
 ;)

Glad that they tickled you, Bertie.
These loads are not so wide, but the next lot may well be.
 ;)

Before the next bunch of Porters, though, will be the Marshall and his Hounds, as I finished them off earlier.....

Loving the marshall and his hounds, and the terrible puns accompanying him! Are these part of a current Kickstarter or a future one? (Sorry, haven't been following along.)

I am going to launch the KS for these figures in a week or two.
I just need to try and get some painted examples sorted out first.
