Rorkes Drift
« on: January 26, 2016, 09:56:09 AM »
Some quick photos of a recent rorkes drift game, using black powder rules.

One our number fell ill on the day, so the Brits were understrength model wise, but the system allowed for us to work around that easily

I hope you enjoyed painting all those Zulus.
It makes me shudder considering it......although the British uniform is just as scary!

Yep, he had to flee at the 11th hour after seeing the odds.

Painting wasn't too bad overall, once the knack was down. Was able to knock out 20 in a couple of sessions of an hour each by the end.

What are Rorkes, and where do they drift to?
The laws of probability do not apply to my dice in wargames or to my finesses in bridge.

We had a player sick on the day, so had to spread out what we had. A return to zulu is being planned now.
