KKBB?
« on: December 09, 2008, 10:12:38 AM »
I just ordered a set of KKBB figures from Copplestone castings (as I am watching Matt Helm now)and I plan on using a few of the corporate babes #2 (the last 3)with them, I think some of them match up nicely http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/range.php?range=FW

Question,
1. Who makes the #4 figure in the 1st KKBB PICTURE?
http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/salute-2008-photos
2. How do Black Hat henchmen compare size wise to Copplestone?
http://blackhat.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=121_122_143&products_id=1348
3. Does anyone else beside Copplestone and Artisan make KKBB figures both male and female?

Thanks

Question,
1. Who makes the #4 figure in the 1st KKBB PICTURE?
It a Copplestone.  It was in the initial sample pack, available at Salute earlier this year. (Top row, 2nd from right)

I presume it will form part of a future pack as many of the pre-release minis are now spread amongst various packs.

2. How do Black Hat henchmen compare size wise to Copplestone?
I haven't made a direct comparison, but would expect the Black Hat minis to be a bit smaller.

You may find some suitable minis in the Geezers range: http://www.killerbgames.com/geezersshutit.html
They certainly match reasonably well size-wise (Slightly shorter).

L to R: Copplestone. Geezer (Starsky). Copplestone.

One-off (so far) from Mountain Miniatures: http://www.mountainminiatures.co.uk/

There are others but can't remember (& at work without "favourites" to check).  :)

Khurasan has a couple of figures you could use (and maybe some more on the way, though I wouldn't know about that). They're more cops-and-robbers really but the sniper and the bystanders wouldn't look out of place in an espionage game. Perhaps even the sci-fi "genocidal overlord" could be used as some kind of evil general type.

Also, I hesitate to mention these as they're very probably true 25mm, but Denizen makes a James Bond and an Oddjob.

Black Hat Bases have some modern civilians, that I believe are by the same sculptor as the Geezers.

I made an order of all the Copplestone figures and some of the khurasan figures.   I like that Copplestone with the submachine gun but that one might not have been release yet as it differs slightly from the one listed in the freelance agent set..  Copplestone figures are amongst my favorite figures and I have lots of them so now I have more to add to my lead mountain.  This years budget is done (right) can’t wait for January.
