More VBCW in Cumberland : The Spring Offensive
« on: February 05, 2016, 07:21:16 PM »
Have not had a chance to post much on here for a while so i thought i would share a few pictures of our latest VBCW campaign . Set in Cumberland and the Borders. The battles are predominantly Royalist Forces based in Carlisle pushing against the Albertine forces in NW Cumberland. The plan is to play 4-5 battles leading to a climax which will be a demonstration battle at Dumfries Wargame show in March thats if i get my skates on.

Two battles so far as shown on the map..... as always if interested there is more VBCW on my blog wargamesinthedungeon.blogspot.com

The Spring Offensive

The Battle for Crofton Hall

The Battle for Micklethwaite

Whilst I am an "interwar" wargamer I've never touched VBCW - but this game makes it look very tempting! Very impressive!!!

Thanks guys for the great feedback :D . In terms of VBCW it does allow you to break lots of rules...with in a very flexible structure. Much of my VBCW will also flex into operation Sealion what if type battles (when I finally get the Germans finished).

Great looking figures, vehicles and terrain well done!

Looking forward to the 'Sealion' scenarios.
