Rui´s Sci-fi adventures
« on: February 21, 2016, 11:09:58 AM »
Well, after seing some great sci-fi/Star Wars threads, i could not resist on doing something.
I´ve decided to throw in everything i will do here in this thread so i´m starting wth these Star Wars rebel troops converted in 15mm hoping to give some ideas to others like many gave them to me.
Let me know your thoughts. :)

A good start!  I was thinking of doing something similar with 28mm figs.  Look forward to see where your project goes Rui.

Thanks Matharic.
The rebel troops where relativelly easy to convert (with some helmets bigger than others). The problem will be the imperial stormtroopers. Mostly finding suitable figures.

The Micro Machines figure sets are roughly 15mm.

Do you have a place where you can get these for cheap?

Is this one of the new micro machines releases or a vintage one?

Thanks for the comments guys. :)

Kidterminal, the micromachines figures are very expensive and i dont find them at sell except on ebay wich i dont have access. Nevertheless many thanks for the tip. :)

James, one of these days you have to build me a imperial transport in 15mm. ::)
Actually 2. One in 28mm for you and the 15mm for me. :D

I don't think that is correct. I've had quite a few and they were almost all spot-on 20mm to the eye.

Khurasan 'sometimes' have appropriate figures for Stormtroopers, although not in their regular catalogue. Highlander Studios also 'sometimes' have suitable character figures.

These guys, also from Khurasan, could proxy as Rebels.
