Some miniatures for a mash-up SoBH/Mutants and Death Ray Guns/Flying Lead/Fistful of Kung Fu game that I've been running for my kids and some of their friends:

Nice stuff. The Eldar has a RT space pirate sort of feel that works well with guardian/dire avenger minis.

And I adore the sneer behind the lizardman's blaster.  ;)

Great group; do you have an appropriately wretched hive for them?  lol

Thanks, all!

axiom, the blaster comes from the Mantic "Orx" sprue.

A wretched hive is certainly on the way ...

Just hadn't looked back; first piccies were impressive.

However, I'd like to hear YOUR thoughts on the 'headgear.'  ???

Some sort of scanning/targeting device (a neural implant)? I'm quite happy with how it looks in the ... plastic. I think the middle shot with the black background shows it best - three scopes of some kind.

It's what all the blue-furred bounty hunters are sporting this season!

Excellent work Hobgoblin :). I love kit bashing and tooling up fantasy models with guns. I did that to a load of beastmen ages back, intending to use them as mutants for either 40K or my own Inquisitor-themed Strange Aeons. Didn't paint them or anything, but it was fun converting them.

This look slike a lot of fun - bet you are enjoying playing, too  ;).

Many thanks, chaps!

Legionnaire Bert: oddly enough, I have a couple of beastmen under the knife at the moment.

Here's an "ash gremlin". I have five of these almost done. They'll act either as primitive "wandering monsters" who can emerge from a number of connected burrows under the gaming table to swarm isolated, or as add-ons to a player warband (bribed with sugar, which they crave with a chemical zeal). We'll use the ASoBH Gang trait, which allows up to five of them to activate as one, along with the Gregarious trait. I'm planning a slightly higher-tech leader with a scavenged gun.
