Agreed! The talent is so even among those masters. The Swiss Chess system almost ensures that even they will lose every once in awhile. It is amazing that Alex has had such a great run, and is a tribute to his Cecil B. DeMille-like entries that he's undefeated, so far.

When I saw I was going to be 5-4 after last round, I was like, "Crap! That's too close to the top...! I'm going to get schwacked in Round 10!" 

I think #13 will be my personal high water mark for this season...
