I don't know if this has been posted before (I have lost track of new posts on this forum since quite a while), but it looks interesting?

A lot of ambitious marketing. But for what?

Absolutely - could turn out to be another meh. Might, on the other hand, provide something useful.

I think the main goodies team is a bit too OTT for my Mythos taste. Good sculpts, but not my thing. But I will keep an eye on them for other new stuff. More Mythos goodness is always a treat :)

I was lucky enough to get a demo of this at the weekend, at Daffcon, and it's really sweet.

You have a small crew of 6-8 characters, which have a mix of powers and attacks (but not too many) on their character sheet. When you make attacks you get spend "mythos points" to add an extra effect by at the cost of sanity. Use too much mythos power and you character can go insane, at which point you flip over the character card and you options change.

In one demo game I watched, a sort of crab monster got killed, and it's fish-witch mother went insane and couldn't do anything except blast the assassin with spells until the offending model was dead!

The team behind it were excitedly explaining that they is a narrative, linked story scenarios type campaign system that explores the background of each faction and lets you play out key scenes from the fluff.

The system itself is a contested 2D6 + your stat system which is slick and quick in play.

I'm very excited and definitely going in on the kickstarter for the rules if nothing else.

I like what I see. Just wish there were more finished sculpts that we could check out. Hopefully they get a few more done before they go to Kickstarter (if they go to KS).

Minimum miniature delivery is 1700~ miniatures. No prior experience in this, from what I can tell, but they did have a stand at Salute.

May 2017 is the delivery date for the product.

Definitely completable but I'd be wary still. I'm about 99.9% certain it's not a scam but I'd give them maybe a 75% chance of delivery.

I've seen the Kickstarter but...it does nothing for me. Don't know why exactly, but the content leaves me cold in general.

It looks cool. But where are the monsters we love? We need deep ones, elder things, shoggoths, mi-go, and so on and so forth.

my issue too...a little research did show that there is an ithaqua/Wendigo faction and the Ghouls faction seems ot e a dark carnival or Gypsy theme...
the kickstarter and the games website seem to have some disconnect on what is in the game.

Dunno, myself.  I watched the two hour game demo, but could only hold on for eight minutes, because it was SO BORING !   Maybe it gets better later.

But at over $10 per miniature, even with the larger pledges, I think they get to keep their minis, and I will walk away.
