What game rules do you use for KKBB?
« on: December 22, 2008, 09:21:36 AM »
I really like both ranges of KKBB models and am tempted to get some to give the guys at my gaming club something other than GW games to play with.  What games rules do you guys use for playing with them though?  Do you make up your own combat system and scenarios or do you use rules already written?

Now, I´m sorry to suggest GW rules, but have you considered the LOTOW rules? Nice ones for movement, shooting and fighting, and additionally, you can handle any task, like hacking into a KBG punchcard/magnetape mainframe, by the 1/2-5/6 test. And you´ve got that "luck" effect to save your master spy from inevitable peril. I don´t yet own KKBB figures but will get some soon, I hope, and I´ve used the LOTOW rules for almost any post-1700 skirmish gaming with success.

Copplestone is working on his own set of rules for KKBB. In the meantime, take any Pulp rules and update them.

I remember reading that someone had revised the Hour of Glory (Warm Acre) game/rules for spy adventures, too.

The chaps who make Geezers are planning a set for KKBB due out next year. Their Geezers rules are excellent, so I expect the spy ones to be the same.
