My stuff - Snakemen! - and Stirges!
« on: April 01, 2016, 01:02:41 AM »
I hope you don't mind but I though I'd share some creations I've made over the last few years. I'm hoping to update my blog weekly.

This week its eldritch blob, leeches and larvae...

Please have a look at http://hitlh.blogspot.com.au/

Blogs don't get too many clicks if there isn't a preview, or if the person doesn't partake in the community here.  It's not just a forum to hawk blogs and wares.  Can you post up some pictures or list some content?

Sorry about that. I only recently joined and I'm not selling anything, just showing off my dubious skills :-)

Eldritch blob

This is some molten lead that I absent-mindedly splashed on my workbench one day. I thought I'd paint it up as some sort of Lovecraftian nether-world thingy. It about 25mm across.

Giant leeches

"Millions of leeches, leeches for me" sitting round a fire pit. They are made from wire and green stuff, including the bricks on the base. The fire is made from bits of stick and kitty litter. The leeches are about 25mm tall.

Larvae

Don't know if you can see it but these are the tortured souls of naughty people doomed to crawl around as larvae in the very pits of Hell itself. The bases were an attempt at lava. So, larvae on lava. The heads are GW zombies but the bodies are putty and wire.

Nice stuff. Larvae are suitably disgusting! :)

Hey those are nice. Great painting too, the sculpting seamlessly meshes with the bits.

I like these a lot. Nice bit of sculpting and painting. Those larvae would work well as, erm, AD&D Larvae

Here are some figures I made to add to my (now defunct) GW Orc and Goblin Army. I plan to raise them again as Kings of War troops.

Some zombies I knocked up for Kings of War. My wife made these from bits from the GW zombies box, GW very old skeleton box and a couple of bits from the GW milita box. I just supplied some rough painting :-)

The colour blue is possibly a bit unusual but I'm trying to keep a blue/purple theme going across the whole undead army.

Here's some examples of some bases I made for HotT many years ago. Please note though, its a sad story.
