I had a problem in that I had some old GW metal ghouls that I had painted a long time ago but never really had enough for a unit. I was then recently gifted with some new plastic GW ghouls but these are the squat, bent over figures that didn't really resemble the old style figs.

I managed, with some putty and superglue, to get them all looking sort of similar as you can see.

Here's a bunch of animals I painted up to be used as random encounters for roleplay games.

I had some Dragonborn characters join my D&D 5e campaign recently so I made some miniatures for them. The first is a blue dragonborn ranger that was fairly straightforward build froma GW plastic liazardman

More at https://hitlh.blogspot.com.au/2016/07/dragonbornses.html

The second is a green dragonborn Warlock that was converted from a Mage Knight miniature.

This is the original mage knight miniture.

That's amazing conversion work, they all blend in very well.

You have some interesting stuff in here.

I'm not sure why but I always sort of like the larvae from the old AD&D game. Pitiful little guys :)

Thanks Guys :-)

I also spent my Easter making some stirges.

Have a look at https://hitlh.blogspot.com/2018/03/stirges-so-i-saw-youtube-on-how-to-make.html] on how I did it.

I just had a look at your page Beefcake. Some great work there :-). Love to see some of them painted up, esp the fiddler crab demon and the Big Brain. I was keen to run a D&D campaign with a Illithid/Githyanki theme and of course featuring an Elder brain toward the pointy end of the game.
