Just realised I've not done a formal intro here, so here's a bit about me.
Mid 40s, live in Hampton Middlesex, with partner, daughter, 4 cats and a dog. Have a grown up son also that lives with his mum.
As a kid, spent my time building model tank and plane kits and playing with Airfix soldiers, but didn't really get into wargaming proper until my early 20s via GW. For various reasons I stopped about three years ago and sold everything, but then realised mid 2007 how much I missed it and started painting again. Joined a forum, where I received a lot of encouragement to continue with it and I now do commission painting part time as well as various individual minis for ebay. I have also recently got back into gaming through a friend pointing me in the direction of the 1938 British Civil War idea, and already looking at moving into other areas - definately WW2 skirmish games as that's my favourite era, but probably pulp stuff too.
Most of my spare time is spent painting, and thankfully my partner is very tolerant
