I have a IMDB list of pulp/noir themed movies which I've watched and reviewed.

Have to add The Shadow with Alec Baldwin. It was my introduction to the character and my first step into a much larger Pulp world.

Hey!  I entirely, ENTIRELY forgot about this movie...  Hmmm...maybe I blocked it out.  You see, I really, really do not like Mr. Baldwin.  But, I did love this movie.  Heck, I will even admit, I think he did a damn good job.  I still don't like him however.

I think I may have to find and watch this again now.

Thanks again!

Does the Wind and the Lion count as pulp?

Favourite movie of all times!

Don't know if it qualifies?

But I always loved "Big Trouble in Little China" Big gang fight scenes and magic/fantasy elements!

I know it's a modern setting. Just always been inspired by it! :)

I'll add my vote for the old 30's serials.
Great fun and adventure in space, in the city or even deep in the jungle.
Good source of inspiration for all kind of pulp game.

If you're on the go, I'd also suggest the old radio serials from Old Time Radio.
Agent K7, the Shadow, Captain Midnight, Doc Savage and a whole bunch of others are available for download on the archives.org.

"Miller's Crossing" and "Last Man Standing" are also good Pulp/gangster movies.

'Bullshot' and 'Doc Savage:The Man of Bronze'. Not the most serious films, but lots of fun and definitely of the pulp genre.
'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.

No one mentioned "The Land that Time Forgot" yet? Pure Doug McClure rubber dinosaur goodness based on an Edgar Rice Burroughs story  (and crying out for a new film adaptation).

It's not great telly but the Aussie "Lost World" TV series is a good source for scenario ideas.

I'd add Bubba Ho-tep.
Not strictly a pulp film, but a mummy sucking the souls out people in a retirement home, and only an elderly Lone Ranger ,Elvis impersonator, and a former president to stop it.Is good plot for a game, and a league I'm tempted to make.

The Phantom was a fun movie, and had a youthful and dead sexy Katherine Zeta Jones in a leather catsuit. Need I say more?

i suppose it depends on how you want to classify your 'pulp' (i'm not choosey):

sci-fi = flash gordon, buck rogers, star wars (ep 4 new hope; the others not so much IMHO), 5th element, men in black
action adventure = scorpion king
spy = james bond, bbc tv the saint (roger moore), the avengers(diana rigg as emma peel!), mission impossible
cowboy = magnificent seven, fistful of dollars, maverick (the james garner TV),  wild wild west (TV - movie goes more VSF), lone ranger(not the modern movie), zorro
war = rat patrol, black sheep squadron, apocaylpse now (yes i think so!)
pirate = pirates of caribbean, captain blood, sea hawk
horror = supernatural (TV show)
cops/gangster = untouchables, dragnet, starsky and hutch (TV), sherlock holmes (basil rathbone or jeremy brett but robert downey jr is good too), the warriors ("come out and plaaayyyy")

i suppose almost any errol flynn movie.

There's a wonderful little known film called 'Savage Islands' (sometimes 'Nate and Hayes' for some reason) starring a young(er) Tommy Lee Jones. It's a great pirate flick with loads of scenario ideas.
