If you do watch it, I would recommend watching it in this order:

http://www.starwars.com/news/star-wars-the-clone-wars-chronological-episodeorder

Rather than the broadcast order - early stories make a lot more sense

Wait!?! What!?!? Damn!  I've been watching this with my kids...2 seasons in...and I've always thought the sequencing was weird!!!  Why would they release them out of order!?!?

I'll have to start all over again!  ;D

Cheers,

Blu

Rogue One - a new trailer:

I prefer the incessantly howling alarm of the earlier trailer, but this shows new characters and new ships - including an Imperial shuttle with 4 folding wings  :D

Interesting addition to see lots of Asian actors joining the cast... Perhaps a nod to a huge market for the franchise... Looks bloody marvellous. Can't wait.

Tried to stay up to watch it lat night but failed  lol

It's gonna be great  :D

including an Imperial shuttle with 4 folding wings  :D

That's the only bit I didn't like, didn't 'feel' Imperial to me.

An earlier, more recognisable version of a Lambda class would've been more in keeping I think.

cheers

Yeah, like that.  :D

Is that a protectorate fighter in the trailer?

That gets my SW blood flowing (even more). Looking great again! 8)

...An earlier, more recognisable version of a Lambda class would've been more in keeping I think...

This is just a couple of years before a New Hope, and RotJ is very short on its heels too.

The shuttle Tyderium is an old workhorse by that time, so it stands to reason (especially in the light of ships being retained for as long as possible in the SW universe) that during Rogue One, Lambda shuttles are already in widespread use.

So these are just of a different type, probably with different role?

And of course Fantasy Flight Games and Hasbro need their influx of new models for their lines too of course...  lol

nah not for me, 4 disappointments in a row means I am in no rush to find out if this is number five or not.

The fact they seem to be showing metric crap tons of the action scenes I see as a bad sign. Remember all those 80's post apoc movies where the trailer and the cover art was a bazillion times better than the contents on the VCR. That is the vibe I get from that.

Even though I mainly disagree with your points I actually also had the 'I hope they're not showing all the good stuff'-thought during this trailer.

I do think it looks much more promising than The Force Awkwards though.

I am not convinced by the lead female character... I am hoping that she will be less wooden in the film itself.

The blind fighter with the staff and 'the force decides' on his side is an absolute gem :)

Totally agree with that, great character.
A Star Wars version of Zatoichi  :)
Though I had hopes he would be a ex-Imperial Guard  ;)

Love the new trailer, by the way  :-*
