Hello leadadventure! I guess it's been a while since I last posted. 2021 was a good year overall but I had too many things that required my attention and that's not something I have a lot of. One of those things was to improve the quality of my painting which isn't necessarily an easy thing to do and what I found was most of my progress was done when walking the dogs and I didn't have anything to distract my thoughts. In order to put my ideas into practice I really got back into painting as a hobby something I haven't been able to do since I started painting for money. As much as I enjoy the commissions they do require a certain amount of efficiency and consistency whereas painting for myself provides and opportunity to take things slowly, make mistakes and revisit the model at a later date. It was a fun experience and the end result was a nice looking collection of models and a better understanding of how this miniature painting works.
