Very niice.

Both of you.
I like the native Setup. Kind of blending into the background. And what a background. :)

But .. my.. where do those Chinese Temple Dragons come from?

Great entries. Thank you

Exactly what I was wondering.

Temudjin, your shading is amazing! The temple dogs are eye-popping, but so is the purple on the mandarin and the musculature on the headband-wearing karate kid in the center! Congrats on an outstanding entry...

Mike and Hawkeye, Thank you. I appreciate the generous praise, especially in light of this being our seventh week of this (murderous?) brush-a-thon. I fear my eyes and sanity are slipping--so do my wife and friends for that matter. ;)

Certainly if I do this next year, I will paint the bulk of my models ahead of the competition rather than on the fly each week. That would help.

Mike, I really like your entry a lot too. The composition and trees are awesome, by the way! My other favorite elements are the wolf head headdress and the color on the leggings (a color choice I plan to steal/use for my next entry).

lol

I've said that to myself every year since LPL5 or so. Have a wild guess if I'm painting on the fly this year too. ;D

Steal away! Ha, ha! That wolf's headdress figure was my favorite pose from the Flint & Feather line, too!

This would be a tough choice against ANY of this week's entries, that yella is COMPULSIVE!

Indeed!!  Well said & completely unvarnished truth, yet both are great offerings.

Your lads are splendid Mike, & I look forward to fondling them in the future...

This LPL I believe your matchups have been misfortunate, & unreflective of your skills!

Thanks, but I like to think my 3-4 record is reflective of the amazing talent in this competition. No shame losing to Lt. Hazel, Hammers, Nikko, and Temudjin!
