Matt's Pulp Leagues
« on: April 17, 2016, 03:56:49 PM »
Painting up some leagues for Pulp Alley, or other related games.  Posted these on the Pulp Alley page already.  All are WIP still and have more figures to be added.

Nice leagues! You're ready for ADVENTURE already!

Is that a box of O-scale train figures under them?

Thanks for the look and compliments!

Fram, yes those are O scale model railroad figures in the box.  I got a bag o' hundred figures in about a dozen different poses for less than $10.  Straight from China.  They are a bit taller than most 28mm figures, and thinner.  But they should make decent plot points and bystanders for games.

These leagues look fantastic! Interesting figures, great paint work! Hope to see them in action: the setting should make for some interesting games.

Those are great looking figures.  The Building facade in the first photo is really nice as well.  These leagues the people native to this board speak of is that a pulp squad/team?  What game are you playing?  Nice models trick me into wanting to play games :) .

in the 'pulp alley' rules, yes a 'league' is a group/team of individual characters. leagues have a max slot/point count with each character taking slots depending on their skill level and abilities;  league sizes can vary from 2 to 10-12 (if using gangs).; 5-7 seems fairly typical though in my experience.  also noteworthy is that the league (other than the leader) can change composition between games - think indiana jones with sala in tunisia, then he's with short round in china.
