Good spot, I'll fill them in, and black line the top.  I never had the dangly leg old Warwalker, just the seated one, but I really prefer the old look!

Loving the look of these. I've got the same figures in a box waiting for paint. They're a mix of my brother's old army back in the 90's and stuff I've randomly gotten since then.  If I ever get around to painting them they will definitely be brush-dipped, so its' nice to see just how good they can look painted that way.

Two questions.
-What shade of dip are you using?
-What color of white or grey did you use on the striking scorpions.

I use the Army Painter medium shade, the name escapes me (pitter patters across the apartment) but it's obviously Strong Tone.

The Striking Scorpions were based with Army Painter "Necrotic Flesh" actually which turned out to be wonderfully perfect tone for what I wanted.  In the desert where I used to work the scorpions were mostly pale (almost translucent) green and would actually glow in night-vision at night.  So when I decided I didn't want to do dark or bright green scorpions and I glanced over and saw the Necrotic Flesh (a pale green/beige almost) it was an immediate decision.  lol

I'm working on some stuff at the moment, update in a day or two perhaps.  Might actually get to put some figures on a table (gasp!) sometime next week.

Thanks!
I think I have a very similar color to necrotic flesh in a P3 paint I randomly picked up.  I've also got plenty of Minwax Antique Walnut which is close-as-makes-no-difference to AP Strong tone.

Keep up the great work.

Great stuff! That army looks excellent. I like the war walkers, though the old metal versions are much better kits ;)

Thanks!  Here is the latest addition...some extra pew-pew for the force.  Two support weapons on grav platforms.  I'm not a huge fan of the ray-bans+mohawk guy but I was too lazy to sort out another crew member.  There is a lascannon (now brightlance) and a distort cannon (modified using the old d-cannon barrel on a missile launcher body to make a better fit for the weapon.

And some saved Warlocks...the dip actually ruined the decals or started to dry them out or something so if they peel off eventually I'll just paint over with normal purple.

Some sweet new rides for the fellas:

And as I did a long time ago, ignored the awkward/terrible joke of a flying base...and went with inverted flight pegs drilled/glued into the body as a tripod.  Makes the tank look much stealthier in flight and is 10x easier to balance on terrain.

Thanks!  Probably won't weather because A) I'm lazy, and B) I'm crap at weathering --- and luckily with the Eldar aesthetic I feel I can get away without it!   lol

Brilliant idea of the tripod there.

The tripod is a great idea!

Maybe you could try inking the panel lines for added pop. A felt tip marker would probably work fine.

The canopy glass looks cool too, how did you do that?
