German Officers & NCO's for "Operation Sealion"
« on: April 30, 2016, 03:16:45 AM »
I really like these sculpts, 28mm Wargames Foundry, to me they look like classic German command types ala Airfix & Commando War Comics, lots of fun to paint. These were part of what I'm calling the "Operation Sealion" commission that I just finished - which includes the Fallschirmjagers in my last post.
There are more pictures here: http://www.jacksarge.blogspot.com.au/2016/04/german-officers-ncos-for-operation.html

I am also very fond of these sculpts and you have really made them justice by this excellent paintwork. Thanks for sharing!

Great, but, as a nice touch the generals lapels should be red without the lace.

Dear Boy,
Wonderful work , they certainly have a feel " sinister devilish, commando book jerrys  "

Keep it up

I like those sculpts too - how do they match with others like WG and Blacktree John?

I couldn't say John, I haven't had the opportunity to paint any Warlord or Blacktree Germans as yet - painted an awful lot of 20mm Germans though  :)
I wonder how they compare with the new Perry DAK for scale etc.,? I assume they sculpted these German officers for Foundry originally?
