Here's an Imperial Noble that I rebased and touched up.  You like?

Yeah, I do like! Looks awesome. Is he part of a project/army/setting?

He's great. Would go very nicely in with my Elizabethans (except perhaps for the outsized sword).  Presumably he's a fantasy rather than a historical figure - GW, Reaper or somesuch? Nice figure though, and nice paintwork. Like the colour choices.  :)

Nice painting! Isn't that a miniature for Dungeonquest or something like that?

That's the Imperial Noble figure for the Warhammer Quest game (later briefly re-released for regular Warhammer as an Empire Hero). A classic figure and a nice paint job!

When you say "rebased and touched up", does that mean you painted it?

That is a great sculpt and a really nice paint job.  Looks quite dashing and heroic!

Thanks to all.  Yes its the Imperial Noble from GW.  And yes, I painted it, a friend dropped it, chipped some parts, and I had to retouch the chipped parts.  I also put it on a round base for use in my skirmish game when I write the fantasy/sci-fi supplement.

Very nifty.  Forgive me - I'm not familiar with the Warhammer Quest figures - how tall is he?

Also, could you share how you did the skintones?
