Oooh I say - House Kayce - Lovely!  :-* Great kitbashing and very nice, bold colours. I like the gold visor. In fact, I like the way you've used gold on your entries throughout. Kudos  :)

(The leper knights are still wonderful, by the way :))

Thanks Cap'n! I painted lots (lots!) of Emperor's Children space marines with gold trim, so I mastered it I think. Lots of layers. I also reckoned Lannisters would splurge on their armor. When I do the northern houses, they will be rather drab in comparison.

I struggled for a while on how to build Ser Kennos, and then I thought, "WWCBD" and went with Gripping Beast arms and my last Saxon cloak. I had looked at just about every plastic horn from every manufacturer, but always had a soft spot for this one.

Just as well those knights are from different historical periods. If they met on the battlefield it would be a fashion disaster , orange and green, how tasteless! But separated by a few hundred years they are lovely.

It is a nice piece of kit. I did find other, more twisted horns, but as they were from GW, they were much too big. I am saving one of them for Dragonbinder...yes, the horn is that big!

Is that the Horn of Herrock I see? Nice!

Though, ya know, I think it's actually House Kenning, of Kayce.  ;)

You are correct Charlie. I kept Kayce in my mind to separate these southerners from their northern cousins, as I plan to paint some Harlaws in my Greyjoy force.
