Could that perhaps not be a 'lad', but one of the Mormont ladies? Perhaps Dacey Mormont, who died at the Red Wedding.

Are they all named characters? They look splendid either way!

Just the Mormonts for now. The blonde chap on the left does look a lot like my mental image of Ned, but I'll probably do some proper Stark warlord models once I get my SAGA rules.

Thanks! Your thread was my main inspiration, both for kitbashing in general when I picked up Frostgrave, and then for starting this project.

Making some progress:

This is not the configuration it will be in later, just what happened to be done first.

Man, for my next batch of minis I must remember to paint before I glue their shields on. Progress is quite slow for among other things this reason.

No progress on the castle I'm afraid. It's been to hot to prime, can't have the door closed or we'd expire from heat, and can't have it ope because spray fumes are yucky.

I did pretty much finish the first batch of Lannisters though! These are WOTR Men at arms and Fireforge Teutons. I'll be using more Perry minis for the rest of the force, but I do quite like the look of the Crusader figures. My plan is spears over pikes for all my soldiers, as I feel GRRM only mentions pikes in the context of heads and mounted them upon things. Lannisters get Crossbows while the Northern houses will get Longbowmen. Lannisters will have a lot more plate among their Knights and leaders then the Northmen, who are 50/50 plate and chainmail at the moment.

Jaime Lannister, Illyn Paine, a banner bearer and a random Knight:

Some Lannister Guards (maybe the bastard what stabbed Ned in the leg):

And some cowards:
