Thanks guys! Freehanding lions was stupid hard, so I think most of my Lannister knights are going to be plate and two-handed weapon types to save me the effort. It's either that or I need to start looking into transfers.

My own favorite is actually Illyn Payne. I love that brutal looking greatsword from Fireforge.

Back to the sort of thing people seem to find more interesting then, some Northern levies (or Frostgrave soldiers). Not happy with the photos, but they are in focus at least,

So four days before I headed far north to see my folks and old friends my order finally turned up. Warlord Celts, both Perry Agincourt sets and some Frostgrave soldiers to round out. Not to be dismayed, I glued together a bunch of minis and packed a travel kit. Naturally the northern summer sun also allows me better photos then the crap light in the south.

First up, eight Stark archers. These will be Warrior level in Saga, which I finally got the rulebook for. Parts from all over.

Some more guys, some more shaky photography. Here are my eight Lannister knights, 2 pts of Hearthguard for SAGA. I'll add tufts, flowers and other things to the bases when I get back to my stuff. The Lannisters are always prancing about in the meadows.

And here's some extra soldiers to complete the groups shown before. I'll have 8 soldiers with spears and 8 with crossbows. The W&N s7 I packed isn't quite as pristine as I had hoped, so the free hand lions on the shields will have to wait.

So after I got these pics taken I couldn't resist lining up the whole army as it stands and snapping a picture. This is 4 pts for SAGA. Next up is finishing up my Starks for which I have 5 pts built and mostly painted.
