Great job on the kitbashing and conversions!

Are the brigandine bodies for the infantry from the Oathmark kit? They look really suited to sellswords, Northmen and Night's Watch types!

Excellent work on the Ned figure too!

Thank you. Yes, they are. It's a lovely kit, even if the spears are a bit crude. Front left on that photo is a straight build from the kit, but I swapped the spear. Centre left is an Oathmark human body with Oathmark Elf arms and a Perry head.

There are a couple of lovely hooded heads in the kit that would make for great Night's Watch rangers or outlaws of some kind.

Together with Ned I've painted up a bunch of the new Oathmark kitbashes, Claymore metals and a couple more Perry bodies sprinkled in. First unit of 25 spearmen is now ready, and I've got a few other models done too. Still a lot of models on the painting table, and more coming. What do you think about the heater shields with transfers? I'm not completely sure on them....

I actually like the heater shields as you've done them where are the transfers from.

Lovely work.

The transfers look good as well...not sure I’d fancy painting that many shields.

Thank you all! I will stick with the transfers, I just wish they were as good as the Little Big Men studios I got for my Saga irish.

I agree, the transfers look good on the shields. I like the grey -> white gradient you've got on the shields too!

Silly question, but are the hoods/collars/fur cloaks on some of the infantry sculpted, or part of the plastic bodies?

Keep up the good work!

Thank you! The fur is sculpted. The oathmark bodies have quite distinct hoods/collars/cloaks on them though and there are nice hooded heads in the set.

White Harbor and House Manderly worship the Seven, not the Old Gods, because of their heritage in the Riverlands. A rich town, it can afford to field heavily armoured knights in battle. They are famously betrayed by Ramsay Bolton at the Battle of Winterfell, while the sons of Lord Wendel fare poorly, being captured and killed during the events of the Red Wedding.

Either way, I have been eying the Knights of Dol Amroth from GW for an alternative source of knight parts. Perry MAA are nice, but to Late Medieval for my vision, while Fireforge are useful but lacking in several areas. I love Claymore's offerings, but they have a single set of metal Crecy-era knights. Taking the opportunity to get some new terrain I had been looking at from GW, I finally got this kit which is only available on direct order. Arrived yesterday and of course I spent all day today building.

Six knights mostly made from Dol Amroth parts with Perry heads (I randomly picked a Sallet, and stuck with it through the unit), and Perry lances. A Claymore knight to round out numbers alongside a trumpeter from Perry Light Cavalry.

The leader is Ser Wyllis Manderly, made from a Perry body (Duc de Orleans maybe, from the Joan of Arc set). The pregnency frock style of surcoat does the job at suggesting a somewhat more portly constitution in my opinion. Bare head from Dol Amroth set with obligatory mustache.

What do you guys think?

Excellent use of those Swan Knights - with regular hats, they suddenly fit fantastically well as ornate but realistically equipped figures.
