Bonjour Arthur,

Oh bother as I don't suppose that my Elite French skirmishers will ever get finished now!

Can you buy these from the UK or do you need to order them from the USA?

Cheers,

Paul

Brigade sell through north star in the UK but not this range. You could contact north star a d ask if they can order you some. You can order from the US as the exchange rate to USD isn't too bad. That is what I tend to do.   You do risk customs though.
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/

What Rob said - he beat me to it.

It seems the risk of being hit by customs is lower in France than in the UK : I've been ordering from BG on a regular basis for about five or six years now and have never paid duties once - and we're talking about twenty-five to thirty orders since around 2010 here.

Paul, here is my simple recommendation for what it's worth : keep your orders small and never buy more than $110/120 worth of goods at once, as that should allow you to slip under the radar. It's always best to split a large order into several smaller ones even if this method is more expensive postage-wise, and Lon Weiss is absolutely okay with that despite the extra work it entails for him.

Also, always use USPS (Lon only ships through them anyway) and never a private courier service such as UPS or FedEx, who will not only force customs duties on you but hit you with an additional 'handling fee' as well.

So far, this has worked for me just fine : so if it worked for Ile-de France, it should work for Auvergne too  ;)

Lovely work by Mr Hicks.
If I was going to do French Napoleonics (which I'm not) these would be the boys.

Lon is also very good with international shipping and takes care over the values marked on orders for customs purposes. Never had a problem buying straight from BG in the USA. Quick delivery, and keep the orders smallish, HMRC won't bother you.

maybe some more early French? :D
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

We sell a good amount overseas so do not be shy.
If I have advice on configuring parcels I will always let you know.

Postage is one of those things that is difficult to calculate correctly. If it calculates higher and is lower of course we will refund. The opposite holds true as well, although that happens rarely.

I have a bunch more releases for the end of the week.
