Great stuff, even if you didn't paint the eyes :D

Oh you can definitely keep the monkey, Malcolm.
I LOVE the monkey. Brilliant. Gorgeous - even if technically in contravention of the letter of the law... But that's monkeys for you...  ;)

Thanks Richard.   :)

#3 18th Century Gentleman

Beautiful, Mark.

You didn't paint the eyes, and you numbered him #3  lol

(Fear not, I've corrected it, and I never paint eyes either. Waste of time and nearly always looks wrong  ;))

In fairness he has no eyes so he couldn't tell it said "#3". I often paint eyes and more often than not they have a look of surprise mixed with the face I suspect colonic irrigation provides.

I don't do eyes in the main, could that be why I never hit anything?

#94 - Lydia de Berg, 18th Century Lady

The model is Black Scorpion's governor's daugther. I know flock is missing, but I wanted to make sure to finally not miss out on a painting club.

No. 95 - Matt Kelly, Drummer in Murphy's Raiding Party 1644

A 28mm Eureka Miniature that's been converted to mount the Bodhrán drummer on a nag. I wasn't going to jump into the club, but I painted some ECW Montrose Irish on the weekend... and there's no way I can wait until the weekend (it's Winter Solstice today) to take natural light photos (though he might need another coat of matt varnish). There's been some lovely painting in this club.
