In my last post I mentioned that I intended to create a Shock infantry unit for my Mexican troops for use with the new Rebels and Patriots rules by adding figures from Boothill mins.
I duly ordered a pack of Sappers and decided to have a go at replacing the tools ,axes, picks they were modelled carrying with muskets.
Below are some photos of the sequence and some images of the completed conversions.
Lots of fun to do and whilst I do not confess to being a capable putty pusher, From a tabletop gaming distance they'll do :)
Thanks for looking.
Cheers
Keith

 :o :o

Brilliant, mate.
What a great idea and most effective.
 :-* :-*

They look like a right mad bunch.
With those aprons they will need a nickname like 'Bernado's Butcher's' or similar.
 ;)

They are ace conversions, I really like them a lot. ;D

You would not know what you had done if you had not pointed it out. The poses look really natural. :)
