Excellent figures, Keith , full of character and you’ve painted them beautifully. I wonder how they measure up to the old Foundry Mexican range , I’ve got most of those .

The original Foundry Mexican peons sculpted by Mark Copplestone are around 25mm, quite small in comparison. The Boot Hill figures will come up slightly larger as they are 28mm foot to eye. I mix them freely.
As Romark says check out the gallery on the Boot Hill website and you’ll see pics of our games using a variety of different manufacturers.
There’s a possibility I’ll ask Matthew to sculpt some peons to accompany the better dressed Vaqueros in the next few months.

Tonight's game set in the Texan War of Independence, using OHW rules and minis from the excellent Boothill range.
Scenario was from the Neil Thomas Rules Facebook page entitled Gonzalez,Mexicans had to capture the "Come and take it " gun.Texan forces outnumbered the Mexican 6/4 but had to roll for entry onto the table so the Mexican troops had an initial advantage in numbers but had to negotiate the Guadeloupe river to get at the gun.
Another fun game with a historical outcome, the Texans won!  :)
Pic 1 and Pic 2. Starting forces.
Pic 3 Mexican cavalry pushing for the gun.
Pic 4 Victorious Texans flaunting the gun.
Pic 5 Game table at start of game.
Thanks for looking in  :)
