JTFM's new 1/56 scale M4A4 Sherman / Firefly Vc

Hi Folks,

This little beauty will be winging it's way to me from sunny Australia shortly, mastering credit to Mike Broadbent. Mike will be moving on to a Deuce and a half for me shortly and then some more Sherman's.

Anyway the master for this one is configured so that I can cast up either the Firefly Vc or the Sherman Mk.V / M4A4.

So all you Brit players now have fresh armour for your Coldstream Guards, Free French have armour for the D-Day landings forward, and if you play Poles, tank power for clearing the Falaise !

The master for this beauty arrived today. I have to do some work on the mantlet to make the Sherman Mk.V then it's off to the races. Mike Broadbent has done an excellent job on this beastie!

The turrets and tracks for the M4A4 Sherman Mk.V / Firefly Vc went into moulds today. The hull goes in tomorrow so I'm hoping first pulls on the weekend. Also expect some changes to our pricing for certain items in our webstore, they should make everyone  some. I've taken over the handling of my site so it'll take a bit for me to get everything switched around ...

Here are some pics of the completed M4A4 Sherman Mk.V and Firefly Vc.

Now it's all off into moulds and casting by Saturday.

The re-tooled M4 Sherman Mk.I / Firefly Ic should be ready for moulds next week.

First pulls are up. Official release is the end of next week but I am accepting pre-orders. Kit will come with extra track links, lots of stowage, the appropriate hatches, and applique armour to fit the front of the driver and hull mg gunner's forward hatch positions....
