Furt: your antique gun is exactly what I was talking about, albeit a very well-polished and gleaming example!

EC: I certainly agree that Second Afghan War regular guns would have been served by regular army artillery crews in uniform!  I think it's possible they might have had some "drivers" for limber teams and/or mule trains in civilian dress, though I don't have any evidence for that.

Exciting news re: new Perry tribal gun crews in the offing!  I will stay tuned (as usual)...

They might be Brit guns from the Mutineer Minis Mutiny range. Not sure though.
