I do think that HäT's larger scale (larger than 1/72, that is) models look a lot like 1/72 models blown up. That being said, you might actually be able to use some of them for massed battles, filling up the ranks for less money than you'd have else needed.

Using these for skirmish games would be an absolute no-no for me, as i like the characterful 'cartoony' look of 28 mm heroic scale minis  ;)

I'm just going to come out and say it.  They look pretty crappy for 28mm models, especially by the standard that is accepted these days.
