Solo miniatures rules by Chris Swan - any opinions?

I am looking for comments/reviews of the La Cucaracha! (Mexican Revolution) and Beyond the empire (BoB 1918-1939) rulesets, which both should have a a solo Add-on pack available. Grateful for any imput!
