Hi Colin
They are quite robust,I replace bayonet,as best I can,on the musket with superglue, then next day wrap a cuff of green stuff around the damaged area, once dry paint as usual. Not had a mini with this type of repair break again whilst after a game it's common to see damage to muskets on the "normal" castings.
It looks a bit "blobby" in the hand but on the table during games not noticeable. :)

Had a few broken bayonets myself. Not too many and by now the design is altered so they don't break off as easily any more.
Have you tried drilling them out and re-attaching ? It actually very easy to do. Make sure you have a clean joint by rubbing both pieces lightly  a few times over some  very fine sandpaper.
Us a drill like this. https://www.amazon.com/10Pcs-Carbide-Micro-Drill-Dremel/dp/B0087M3C44

Use the fleshy part of your thumb as a guide to centre the drill and drill approximately 1mm deep on both ends. Insert 0.3 florist wire on the musket side and slide the bayonet part over it.Glue with cyano-acrylate glue. Almost invisible joint and very strong.

Now keep those pictures coming! They are a real inspiration to me and doubtless many others.

Another game tonight with Meirion55 and Jeff965 up at mine using TmwwbK rules.
A scenario from the rulebook,A sigh of Relief, with a British baggage guard protecting the Colonel's supply of crates of Champagne bottles and tins of Larks tongues in Aspic from a bunch of marauding sepoys until a relief force arrives.
Managed two games with Jeff winning both times, once as the British and once as the Sepoys! :)
Pic 1. Sepoy units, for this game classed as Irreg, unenthusiastic.
Pic 2. Baggage guard under attack.
Pic 3. Baggage guard at full strength.
Pic 4.volunteer horse at full tilt.
Pic 5. The Sepoy leader, rolled on the trait table and Meirion55 got a "drunk" result for this chap! Giving an activation roll of 8! Not good  lol.

Well the whole game revolved around this as an objective so I needed a suitably imposing model, but I haven't finished my  mdf piece so I had to use this one!   ;) lol
