50 cent thrift store find - crap to gold
« on: June 18, 2016, 12:39:50 AM »
Picked this up this afternoon for 50 cent (with a truck minus a cabin attatched to it....I'll salvage the wheels later)

In between jobs, in less then 2 hours painting time, with 5 layers of varnish to try and get rid of the orange peel coat. Don't ever buy Army Painter primers rattlecans....utter shite!

Works fine for 20mm as illustrated by the Panhard (which is tiny as it is). Works for modern and post apoc.

Looks great, nicely worn :D

Can't say I've had a problem with Army Painter except for one can of black which dried kind of glossy. The German Uniform cans I used on my 40K terrain were great. YMMV I guess!

That's brilliant.  I always have my blinkers on and miss opportunities like that.

You are the master!  8)

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing
