Hi Nervis,

If these are newer Old Glory sculpts--and I think they are--then they should be pretty good. The newest OG stuff is pretty reasonable. There are always a few poses that are silly, or look like the model is walking through a hurricane, but in general the last few lines have been pretty good.

There were mixed reviews about this range recently on TMP. I seem to remember saying most of the packs were ok, except the bearers which were poor sculpts. I have not seen any in the lead, so cannot comment.

The two packs you have highlighted do look good. I like the two adventurers tied to poles and the hunter standing over a lion. :)

I bought then, luckily at 40% off.  The Old Glory bearers are pretty hideous (tall and spindly), but there are lots of good bits there for conversions though.  Get the Foundry ones.

I have the second set and as with most old glory figures I find them to look bad but paint up nice. The couple tied to the posts are priceless; you always need a damsel to rescue.   I had bought all the OG gladiators when they came out and they look so crude but after a nice paint job they are some of my favorites.

I received the explorer pack last week-end. Well done with some good characters (the explorer with the whip, the girl with the pistol, etc...) . i'll sell the figurines that i don't really need on ebay !
If any one are interested ? i'll send you the link to my ebay !
