(AP 2016) American Civil War

A big box of Lead. Specifically ACW lead from Renegade and Redoubt.  It's been in various boxes for a number of years now but with Sharp Practice 2nd edition out I'm keen to do something about it. The breakdown of groups into 6, 8 or 10 (occasionally 12) makes painting units less daunting. I'm going to attempt to make a start on a Confederate force with 4 groups of Rebs from the 4th Texas. Depending on how that goes I'll add a unit of 3 Rebel groups or start on some Federals. Even if I can just get enough for a game of Sharp Practice I'll be happy!

It's not that big a box. I have to tell myself that or I'll be put off! Some clean up and mould line removal has been done. A laborious task but it's got to be done. They'll be bases on 1p coins so I can use the Warbases sabot bases.

I'm working on my Sharp Practice deployment points for the TFL's competition at the moment. It was supposed to tie in with this and be ACW based but I had a better idea for some Russian Napoleonic ones, so that's what I'm doing. I'm hoping to have the first group done in the next few weeks, which is fast for me. There are continents that move faster than my painting.
