Delighted to report that I have kicked off my new Shed Wars project - the Colonial Wars of the Victorian Age

First up will be the Anglo Zulu War - the challenge paint 500 Zulus by September

Thats 270 in the picture...I have another Warlord games box of 120 on its way plus I have just ordered a dozen indunas from Black Tree - so effectively an army of 400 !

Wonderful stuff ! Whose bases and trays are you using ?

I am still to purchase my zulus and am torn between current BTD offering, and there are many good reviews of the figs, or go plastic.

Unfortunately I still have nightmares from building all those vikings and survivors from WGF.....

All the details are on the blog...links etc

The bases re steel 25mm washers and the trays are from warbases

I have just finished building 400 plastic Zulus...once you get going it's easy to build the production line

Big tip ...cut out all you need from the spruces first

Cannot comment on the btd stuff other than it is still twice the price of plastic when on sale. My plastic Zulus work out at 50p per figure....as I said above all the details are on the blog

The first 360 Zulus are finished (bases & trays still to be done)...I think i have built quite a horde in the last 4 weeks
