For a fast batch paint job, they are very good. Which reminds me that I have droves of WGF zeds to assemble and paint, btw... 

Only thing I'd consider would be to tone down/dirty the red blood a bit, perhaps with a wash of black or brown... well, wash. Anyways, I'd be happy to churn out walkers at that speed!

Looks like fence broke somewhere...  A few more colorful painted "fresh" kills would give a nice contrast.  You can't have too many Z's.

Thanks for the input!  Was going for the Walking Dead comic style colours.  Besides the blood (Which has two tones... One dark and a bright hi-lite;)) I only used three colours.  Then a strong tone and a dark tone army painter.  So mostly the are black and white as in a movie except for the blood:)

The 'grey mass' effect works very well with zombies!

I haven't had the grapic novel in my hands, but if the blood in it is a standard CMYK red-red, you probably nailed it. The only reason I commented on it, is that is is rather bright, and I tend to avoid that myself, but with the reason given, I can see it working.

The comics are black and white.  The splash of red in inspired more from the covers.  Besides...BLOOD!
